Here's the bottom half of my 100 favorites from this year to get things started. Throw it on shuffle, poke around for a band you like, listen to it in order or scramble it all up any which way; it's your oyster. The top 50 will arrive in their usual batches of 10 soon, and the playlist below will be completed. The ranking is in reverse of the number listed next to each song (e.g., Land of Talk's "A/B Futures" is #100), if that matters to you.
