2010-14: the albums (75-1)

In the vein of Pitchfork's recent publishing of its staff's picks of their favorite albums of the almost-half decade, I've decided to do the same, because why not? I've pared the list down from nearly 400 albums that I've listened to that have seen release from 2010 through today, though there's a bit of bias away from albums recently released as those are the most likely to be looked at differently sooner. That said, you'll still see a few from 2014 in the mix. EPs and LPs alike were considered, but this list ended up being almost exclusively LPs.

You'll see some discrepancies even as recently as last year's albums list, most likely, and I didn't even look at any past lists as I put this together. This is how everything sounds to me now. Hopefully you'll find something new to try and enjoy, or maybe just roll your eyes at my picks along the way. Whichever side you fall on, enjoy the list, and feel free to let me know if you try anything new that you end up liking.
